Anne Shirley has just said goodbye to Gilbert Blythe at the train station after seeing him in Kingsport. Now, Gilbert struggles with the aftermath of saying goodbye.

Sometimes, I get some ideas that I know I may not have time to actually write out. I might one day, but I'll just put them here for now.

"Come home someday" Anne had said to him. Home. Was Avonlea still his home? Gilbert trudged through the snow, the image of Anne's face still embedded in his mind. He was halfway to the docks now, ready for work, when he hesitated. "This is crazy, but worth a shot" he thought, walking back towards town. He would ask Anne, if she wanted to go with him. But what would she say?

GILBERT + ANNE BLYTHE had just lost their sweet baby Joy and soon after, found out that they were expecting another little one. Anne, overwhelmed with the fear of losing another one after going through through pregnancy and birth again, has her mind made up... "Gil, I want you to be my doctor this time. Anne and Gilbert have been smitten with each other for a long while, and every day they are apart doing their college studies is a tedious day. What are these feelings Anne has? Will Gilbert finally tell Anne how he feels? Or will they both continue to be oblivious? As soon as Anne Shirley arrived at the snug, white farmhouse called Green Gables, she knew she wanted to stay forever... but would the Cuthberts send her back to the orphanage? Anne knows she's not what they expected - a skinny girl with decidedly red hair and a temper to match. If only she could convince them to let her stay, she'd try very hard not to keep rushing headlong into scrapes or blurt our the very first thing she had to say. Anne was not like anybody else, everyone at Green Gables agreed; she was special - a girl with an enormous imagination. This orphan girl dreamed of the day she could call herself Anne of Green Gables.

Following Anne of Green Gables (1908), the book covers the second chapter in the life of Anne Shirley. This book follows Anne from the age of 16 to 18, during the two years that she teaches at Avonlea school. It includes many of the characters from Anne of Green Gables, as well as new ones like Mr. Harrison, Miss Lavendar Lewis, Paul Irving, and the twins Dora and Davy.

What would happen if we change something to the story? Would it have a different ending? This is a book of what would have happened if some scenarios were changed in the story of "Anne with an E". I'll also be taking ideas that you comment! (I do not own this characters!)

Anne with an E Season 4 Fanfiction As Gilbert Blyth and Anne part ways a new journey begins. The two kindred spirits must navigate new surroundings and new affections, which neither have experienced before. The pen pals struggle in expressing their feelings as they spend their days apart. Only to be brought back together in familiar surroundings but even more unfamiliar feelings. Characters and places belong to the original TV series, however, the storyline belongs to me and so any similarities with real-life events or other works are a coincidence.
