Anne is now a full time student at Queens Academy, a place where many journeys await. New dangers, new friends, and new romances blossom as Anne faces some of her biggest adventures yet. The way I will be writing it most likely will not fit in with just one season. If I decide to keep up with the story, it'll be going through many different years in Anne's life, starting after the end of season 3. All of it will be based of of the show, and loosely based off of the events in L.M. Montgomery's books. {What to expect: ...Lots of shirbert (because of course) a few other ships too for subplots, and since I want it to feel like an actual season of the show, there are a few different main plots that will be introduced as well.} Don't forget to comment what you think! This story is a modern day version of Anne with an E and Anne of Green Gables. It tells about Anne and her friend's journey through out high school and more specifically, her and Gilbert's journey.

I AM RE-WRITING THIS STORY ~ Before I was able to raise my chin and speak, a voice I had previously heard in a dream rose to the occasion. "Hey! Billy! How's it going?" The memory of the voice was far away in my imagination, in my mind and I could not remember. His voice sparked such a delightful sensation in me and in my head flew images of a grassy field with flowers and butterflies, the perfect scenery of the field where Elizabeth found her love with Mr Darcy. It made the butterflies vanish and circulate to my stomach instead, and then I knew who stood before me. I turned to the clearing; my feet heavy from the blow to my head and watched his figure step closer. His furrowed eyebrows once again knitted over his dark eyes as he seemed confused as to why our paths crossed again. I felt my heart rise in a discomforting way, as I had never known if I would ever have the occasion of seeing him again, and I had not thought about it ever since I left his home. However, there he stood, Gilbert Blythe, as handsome as he was the first time I met him.

Because my favourite tv show sadly ended (right after Anne and Gilbert finally got together) I wrote this story here: what I assume what might have happened after the season 3 finale. What would've happened next between Anne and Gilbert? Would they have stayed together, stayed in contact? How would have been her life at Queens College? How would've her and Diana's friendship evolved after becoming roommates? What would've happened to the other beloved characters, like Cole, Miss Stacy, Marilla, Matthew and most importantly Ka'kwet? This right here is what I imagine what a 4th season of Anne with an E might have looked like. Hope you enjoy it!
