What if Anne's parents didn't die of fever when Anne was three-months old. Anne's parents moved back to Scotland when she was young. They return to Prince Edward Island when Anne is thirteen, as her father gets offered some land he can farm, after enduring a brief illness which drove him from his other job. Follow Anne's life as she lives her Cannon life line slightly differently.

River Williams lived the dream that you could only wish for. Living the good 18th century life in New York. River could have had anything she wanted in the world. "The sky's the limit" her parents used to say. Instead of being a snob or a brat like most rich teenage girls were like. She was a kind, caring and thoughtful young lady with others in mind. But with her family's social rank going up the ladder they became more richer. But having all that wealth doesn't mean you're all that happy.
