Anne with an E fanfic! This story takes place after season 2, it's a Anne with an E version of the classic love story of Anne Shirley-Cuthbert and Gilbert Blythe. I suggest you watch the first two seasons, to fully understand, Anne with an E season 2 is now available on Netflix! This story includes our favorite characters bickering, and their slow-burn romance. It'll hold you until we find out if were getting a season 3 <3 Lots of my scenes are inspired by the books! There's an Avonlea ball and everyone is excited. It's a tradition to go in pairs, so the boys start asking.

Y/N she's lived in Anvoela almost all of her life. She has great friends and a loving town. when a new orphan girl Named Anne moves in with the Cuthbert's it seems like a blessing to meet someone like her. But then the mere friendship of the two introduces Anne to Gilbert Blythe. Y/N is caught in the middle of their complicated friendship. but it's just a friendship right?!.. This story follows the Anne With An "E" storyline. Spoilers! if you haven't finished or watched the show. "I tightly gripped on Gilbert's hand. I wished this was a bad nightmare I could just wake from." Orphan, Anne Shirley-Cuthbert was adopted by the Cuthbert family around the age of 13. Her best friends since then, Diana Barry, Ruby Gills, and Cole Mackenzie are all going to the same college. They have all dreamed of staying together since then and now it is happening. Across the country a boy, Gilbert Blythe coincidently ends up going to the same college as the other four. Gilbert Blythe is "the bad boy" of his school. But his dream is to become a doctor. Anne and Gilbert realize this isn't their very first meeting, and a friendship turns into much more. This is based on the Netflix series "Anne with an E" All fiction characters belong to the show but the story and plot are original. I did add twists to this but if you have watched "Anne with an E" there are some references.

Since the show has been cancelled and I'm not ready to let go, here's my version of season four. There's drama, there's comedy, there's friendship but most importantly, there's Shirbert fluff. It starts immediately after the end of the show. It'll follow Anne and the Avonlea gang's life through early college and beyond. I make no promises but I will try and update as frequently as I can. I do not own any of the the original Anne with an E characters. The rights for that belong to Northwood Entertainment, the creators and produces of the show and Lucy Maud Montgomery

As Anne Shirley Cuthbert's life changes so does she...especially since she can't seem to get someone, out of her mind. The copyright for the characters and some of the storyline goes to the series Anne With An E and the book, Anne Of Green Gables, by Lucy Maud Montgomery. However, I have taken creative license on the characters, I've added new characters and most of the plot is my creation. I hope you guys enjoy :)
