Amaya Odair walked away from the 69th Hunger Games a victor. A winner. But, she never felt like she had won. To survive those sets of games, Amaya watched the boy she loved die. She had to do other things too. She had to become things to be the one who walked away. And, a lot of times she finds herself wishing she had been one of the tributes to die in that arena. It's been a year. Now, Amaya finds herself a mentor. She is supposed to guide other children - her peers - in these games. She finds herself lost in the ghosts of her pasts and the horrors of her present. She is barely keeping her head above water. But, the show must go on.
