When a longing magical being fails her apprenticeship she helps her sister on Earth get out of a certain situation. She meets magical beings like her: Annions, and helps them save the world.

When Kendra's mom passes away, her father's relationship with her weakens. Her father only cares about his job. When she finds out about her father's crazy plans, he seeks revenge turning her into an annion a animal person, her animal is a caracal. When she can not figure out how to control her powers, she runs away from home. She struggles with not getting caught, and her sexuality.
