When you're in great emotion, brainstorm happens. And when brainstorm happens, you write a reflection of your soul — poetry.

These are rants about my annoyance against certain tropes I often see specifically in Percy Jackson fanfics. So this is also consequently a guideline on what to do and not do if you wish to write an accurate PJO story from a die hard fan of the series. (It's a strange one, but it's been drop kicking my mind lately so why not)

Just gonna be dumping my thoughts here cause I don't have any better idea how to rebuild. I doubt I will ever rebuild.

Loneliness is a tragic and essential part of life that everyone on Earth has experienced at least at one point in their lives. Whether they want to admit to it or show it, they have. Harmony Hampton has never really talked about it to anyone. Not even to her best friend, Simon. She's had to keep it in for quite a while. Luckily, she's almost done with all that alarmingly petty high-school drama. Heading off to the uni, with Simon, she hopes to turn her back to all that nonsense. In the summer of her graduation, she lands herself in the spotlight British paps... Not that she necessarily enjoys it. Her lonely past gets shoved behind her, as a result, or so she hopes. That's one of the very few pros to the very many cons there is to being harassed by the merciless English press and paparazzi. The frankly rude and infamous British paps care more about who Harmony is with 24/7 than her own wants. Harmony's privacy is selfishly snatched away from her and she won't put up with it at all. Her crippling past shapes her present and future, because she found her voice in it. Her past will, however, come back again and again. It's just as stubborn as Harmony is. Harmony is almost as typical as teenager gets, with raging obsessions over hugely popular boy-bands such as One Direction and her own dance career. She also has her not-so-typical side, her passion for super-geeky shows like Doctor Who and Merlin. Never mind her appearance. Her profile oozes normality, yet a special someone senses more to her...

We wrote this in like 8th grade and realized how much we sucked at writing... xD We've improved! :D We are upperclassmen now! So we've decided to keep this lame terrible story on here but make a new one! Its WAY better than this. Has some same characters. :) It's called "Truth is I hate you" Go read it not this! By the way, this story is not finished! But go ahead and read if you want to. Not the best story ever, just to warn you. Lame Summary from 8th grade... Sixteen year old Gabrielle (Gabbie) lived in Georgia and was in custody of her father who lived in Florida after her mother's death. She has new friends, enemies, and maybe even a boy friend... Her dad abuses her and her mom ignores her, and her sisters torture her. Her life is tough and it becomes tougher without her mom by her side.

Lily DeWinter was that girl. The one who nailed every dance exam, got every prize, especially the coveted scholarship to the Royal Ballet School. Five fast years later, she's a dancer at the New York Ballet. When Lily suddenly finds herself out on the streets, abandoned by what she thought was the perfect boyfriend, and to add insult to injury: pregnant, she doesn't know what to do. Slowly trying to build her life back together, she struggles to work, laugh and live. This is my attempt at writing a romance story, so please note that it's a BIG work in progress.

Conclusion: Tom Hiddleston, always. He's the only man who makes me smile even in the worst moments.

Phoenix Ride. She seems like an ordinary girl ... she's not. She was raised in an orphanage from the age of ten along with her best friend and partner in crime Ryan Banks. She became an orphan at the age of ten when her family were all but two and herself killed in a house fire she accidently started with her bare hands and no tools in a fit of anger. Since then Phoenix has become a pyromaniac rather than just being facinated with fire. Another thing that makes her abnormal, is her ability to see, hear and talk to ghosts. She has a short fuse and has been called hot head for more than red hair by her friend Ryan since she came to the orphanage he had been at for two tears previous. Join Phoenix in an adventure to prove her loyalty, whether it be to her boss or other people. Follow her through her tough times and fun times. And don't forget ... though this may not be the beginning of her story and it certainly isn't the end ... she will go on. Even if death is part of her adventure.

I've never been at the top of my life nor have I been at the bottom. I've never been the kid who volunteers...I'm normally the victim who gets called on when I'm not ready.
