Bo is 16, and he's still anorexic. It started with gym, in sixth grade. It started with being the slowest kid in fifth grade. It started with being the weakest boy in fourth grade. It started with being the shortest boy in third grade. Maybe it started when he couldn't be a cheerleader in second grade. It started with a lot of things, he thinks. But maybe it never really "started," it just... Well, it just happened. It happened with a few extra push ups here and there. It happened with not eating the snacks at lunch, but only on the days he was in the green group in Ms. Arema's class. But, it doesn't really matter what starts it, what matters is that it happened. This is what happened. This is what was caused. This is his life now. He isn't ready... -Connor

Everybody always says that high school years are the best years of your life. I'm sure you've heard of the "classic high school romance" or the magic of prom or the "going shopping on a Saturday afternoon with your girl squad". Yeah. Well, all that only works out if you're pretty and popular. If you're anything short of perfect, oh they'll see it. And they won't let you forget about it. And when you fix it, they'll find something else you have to "fix". I was that girl. The girl who didn't have any friends until half way through senior year. The girl who always had something wrong with her. The girl who was fat. Until she wasn't anymore. She became invisible. I didn't think anybody cared. I thought I was alone in this excuse for a life. I started to question the point in living at all. But then somebody saw me. At the most unexpected time, at the most unexpected place. Him. This boy. Kellin Quinn Bostwick. He actually cared about me. But, of course, how could I forget, that happy endings only exist in fairy tales. I started off as an unknown, mostly disliked young boy and I've become a strong person in general. Because of this one person. Her name's Annika. Annika is depressive and has anorexia nervosa. I never met anyone outside of school. Now I spend almost every day with her keeping her alive. I start enjoying the feeling I get while helping depressive people. This is all the way taken out of my own life. None of these phrases is fictional. Please read carefully and don't ever hesitate helping. Never. Helping doesn't take alot of effort. But it keeps people alive. Trust me.

After Flex Adler has discovered he has a condition, he feels like he won't fit in with the gang, called stakeouts, again.
