This is a short poem I wrote at around 3am one morning based on personal experiences. Deals with deep issues, do don't read if you find that material offensive or upsetting. Please review. This is one of the first poems I've every written and I would appreciate feedback, critique etc.

Anorexia nervosa is a mental illness and an eating disorder and has the highest mortality rate at the time. It is a very complex illness from with only a few fully recover. It also is a very complex disorder which is mostly always paired with other illnesses such as a compulsive disorder. Since there is an enormous stigma around mental illness, knowledge about the disorder itself and its treatment is lacking. This story is told by Denise, who is 26 years old and just lost a very precious person to Anorexia Nervosa. In her story she takes us with her through a journey that most of us hope to never go through.

Since Jesy's boyfriend Harry left her, everything goes down. She gets lost in her own body and her friends try her best to help her.

This is a story about a young Camilia (a girl), who is struggling with Anorexia Nervosa and the normal problems with being a thirteen year old girl. In desperate need to talk to someone, though she believes she has no one, she starts writing in a journal to her sister, Beth. Beth was the one person she trusted with her whole heart and talked to about absolutely everything. That was before she died in a tragic car accident. I know I have a problem, but that doesn't mean I want to fix it. anorexia, bulimia, whatever you want to call it, its been a big part of my life for years now. they're just now noticing it. I'm being forced to group therapy, and now I have to try harder to fake it around the people who "care". but what if a part of me actually wants to get help?
