The second time she goes back to outpatient treatment she finds herself wondering whether or not she will truly live through another 6 years. She realises how she might never truly recover and loses all the hope she had left.

Roxella (Roxy) is an average, teenage girl. She has a pretty fair life, great friends, nice family. But that all stops once she moves to the state of Florida. She's bullied into an eating disorder and she finds out one of her new friend also having anorexia. So, they play it out together.

This is a story of anorexia nervosa. The illness is affecting more and more lifes and for many people it's hard to understand. To make it a bit clearer, I wrote this story. It shows what's going on in the head of people suffering from eating disorders. I wrote it based on my own experiences and on other peoples stories. They describe a voice in their head, controlling their eating. I named that voice Ana (short for anorexia) and described it like a person. Like a friend. Anorexia nervosa is getting more and more common and serious so it would mean a lot to me if you take your time to read my story.

As things go im the "I don't give a shit overachiever". Isn't that contradictory, ha well that's just the half of it. So if this is the case and I seemingly "don't care" then why did I develop my eating disorders. Well lets just say you simply cant judge eating disorders as vanity orientated, that is unless ur an un-educated spas . Sadly im not as invincable as id like. I needed a space to write how it feels to go through recovery, how its changed me for the better, and how difficult it was for myself to realise I had a problem.
