Until he sadly passed away of cancer halfway through the school year. Her grandfather didn't have much to leave in his will...except a few hundreds and an old beanie. He left it for her, and ever since, she's worn that slightly linted grey beanie everyday. Mindy didn't know what to do. She had no where to live unless she'd want to live with her parents again or get attacked and mugged. So she asked the last person she could think of, her friend, Skyla. The two had become friends a few years ago but were separated. Only now did they meet up once again, their bond stronger than ever. It's been a few months since Carter, Skyla's Ex and abusive, boyfriend was gone. But now, there was a new kid in town. Benn. Mindy didn't exactly like him that much. But Sky sure did. Not even a few months later, Benn and Skyla were a couple. Mindy didn't enjoy it that much. She was glad Sky was happy, but it's like all her time was spent with him. Which meant it had to be an Autobot. But who? Who could it be? Would he ever find out, or would he have to live the rest of his days, even after the end of their charade, never knowing who his father was?
