Charlie and Joey have lived next door to each other since they were kids and best friends since their first play date. They've made it through puberty and the awkward early years of high school. Going into senior year things are different. Joey's got a girlfriend. Charlotte has a crush on Joey. Rumors and high school drama begin to take over. Joey's on the track team and finds his place with all the other athletes. Charlotte is a girl that never really fit into one group. As it seems the world of cliques, parties, and proms are pulling them in opposite directions can their lifelong friendship withstand the test of high school?

This is my first story! It's an Ansel Elgort fan fiction. I'll add a description later on in the story due to the fact that I'm just writing with the flow. Enjoy the story!

Lesliee was your typical teenager with a dream. Her dream was to go to New York for her 16th birthday. Her wish comes true but somebody unexpected shows up in her life. Ansel Elgort liked her the day he saw her in the airport. She falls for him and then many obstacles are put in their way. But then she wakes up to find out she was in a coma for about 6 months changes her whole life. She had dreamt the whole time of being with a Ansel. She then actually gets her wish come true of going to New York. The way Lesliee and Ansel meet is not the way anybody should ever meet but after a while will she actually fall for him or will his fame and girlfriend and more obstacles the cause of Lansel not being together?. Ansel and I met in a park in downtown New York when we were just 5 years old. We both fought over the very same swing because the park was crowded and the rest of the swings were taken by other kids. After a moment of contemplating on Ansel's part, he let me take the swing and walked behind me so that when I kicked off and got going he could push me. After that day our parents kept in contact and scheduled periodic play dates. We grew closer as friends and by time we started going to elementary school we were inseparable. Now that we're older and still just as close of friends, Ansel spends most of his time at my house. And now that he's at my house most of the time, I've got no where to go when he upset me, or when my feelings for him act up. Feelings? Well yes, I'm in love with my best friend. But enough about that and let's face it, nobody's perfect and everyone makes mistakes, slipping up with their words and accidentally hurting the person/ people they care for the most. Also, after spending so much time with him, how could I not have fallen in love with him? So, where do I go when I need my time away from my best friend? The Swingset, of course.
