Failing upwards refers to a series of failures which are beneficial to an individual's career; failures providing learning experiences - adapted from Simplicable.com. Falling can happen in many ways. Perhaps you fell from a height. Perhaps you fell from grace. Perchance, you were at the top, but then everything came crashing down at you. What if that descent allowed you a new path to change? What if a new doorway was opened? Maybe your sins can be forgiven. What if, instead of falling and hit the floor, you fell upwards instead? What if instead of descending, you ascended? What if you lost everything, just to be given a better chance? It's too bad that the road to redemption is not easy. Oliver Prince, a teenaged delinquent with abnormal strength, has his iron-grip of reality forcibly taken from him when he messes with a foreigner. This puts him in cahoots with an extravagant man who will open his eyes to a side of life which was only relegated to fiction.

Life was never fragile. It was always temporary. Cities rise believing they are permanent. People move through their days convinced they matter. Systems hum, lights stay on, and the world pretends it is stable. Then something begins to move. Not a man. Not a monster. Something older than fear and colder than reason. There are no rules to break. No mercy to beg for. No escape to be earned. Only inevitability; slow, deliberate, absolute. As bodies fall and systems collapse, humanity searches desperately for meaning, for a name, for something to blame. They will not find it. This is not a story about survival. This is a story about what happens when the world realizes it was never in control. I am not coming. I am already here.
