Sophie Foster was excited to go on the trip of her dream's, until ... she was separated and dropped in an entirely new continent. Now Sophie must try and survive against all odds and find her family. During her time, she might meet a charming young boy who might just know the right people to get Sophie home. Hi, my name is Sakura. I am writing this story purely for fun and I am basing this on the Keeper of the Lost City's Books. All cover art is generated by ai, as I am a terrible artist. There might be many plot holes, and it might not make sense if you don't read all of Shannon Messenger's KOTLC books. Happy reading and make sure to comment and vote, thank you.

The wall was not supposed to be there. Elena had spent eleven months below the ice shelf cataloguing what the drill team called the boring layer. Then a portion of it calved away in the night - and revealed something that no boring layer should contain. A wall. Seamless. Warm. Ancient beyond measure. And it was pulsing. ─── This is the free opening chapter of THE INVITATION: THE SIGNAL - Book I of The Invitation trilogy. A pattern - 2-5-7 - emerges from beneath Antarctic ice, linking ancient sites across three continents and revealing a system older than humanity itself. This was never meant to be found. Only answered. Read book one on Amazon → https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GYQ7HFQ8

The ripples in another world, not our own, beckons the life of an expeditionist venturing in the ice. Ben is investigating a phenomena involving disappearing bodies when he stumbles upon a way into a new world where water is the only surface and humans have adapted to the marine environment. It seems he's been the main attraction and they would be correct for thinking so, because Ben is quickly adapting to the world himself as a new breed of power. It's been over 2,000 years since the Great Ice Age unleashed its fury across the earth. To ensure humanity's survival, the Founding Engineers selected a genetically diverse population to live under the safety of a dome, leaving everyone on the outside to perish. With the real world shut out so long ago, hardly anyone remembers it's there-- least of all Maysel, who's frozen inside. The only thing she has to worry about is the dome's dwindling gene pool, which threatens their very existence. The reason they were chosen. To ensure humanity's survival through the Great Ice Age. When Maysel finds out the city stole her DNA as a toddler, she teams up with Maddox, a classmate with deep, personal gripes against the city. Together, they uncover the ethically questionable lengths the city has taken to restore the gene pool, and begin to think beyond the dome's false blue sky. Meanwhile Dr. Hatfield, a scientist for Avtek, spends his summers analyzing ice cores in Antarctica. Until one day, he stumbles across a man-made tunnel on the side of a mountain, just barely peeking above the surface. The ice is melting.

I've never been taught proper geography. I've lived in Australia my whole life and only in grade 7 did I learn that Brisbane was just a city and not a whole state. And then in grade 8 I only just learnt that Sydney is not state and just a city. In grade 7, I had a wonderful science teacher who also taught history, so we learnt a lot about Ancient Egypt from them. The first actual piece of geography I ever learnt was from them, and it's that Egypt is both an African and Asian country as it sits on the border of both continents. So I have made it a personal mission to learn geography myself lol Start Date: 1 June 2024 Word Count: 1,127 Ranked: #2 in continents (19/04/26) #6 in regions (15/04/26) #20 in antarctica (10/04/26) #23 in northamerica (12/01/26) #25 in geography (13/04/26) #39 in southamerica (21/10/24)

In the 1700s, a group of explorers from a Scandinavian country, initially comprising 300 men, become hopelessly lost while navigating the icy waters of the Antarctic. After four grueling years, only 118 men remain, and just 45 are capable of working due to extreme hardship. Their ship, encased in ice, is rendered immobile. Desperate for survival, the explorers venture onto the desolate continent, only to discover a high-tech, futuristic settlement called Aeternum. Aeternum, hidden beneath layers of ice, is inhabited by robots who have maintained their advanced technology in isolation. The explorers, weak and starving, are initially in awe of the robots' sophisticated world but soon realize that they are unable to adapt to the settlement's advanced systems and limited resources. Despite the robots' attempts to help offering spoiled food and teaching survival skills-the explorers struggle to survive. In the late 2000s, a Greenlandic scientific expedition uncovers the remnants of Aeternum and the story of the ill-fated explorers. As they piece together the history, they uncover the extraordinary tale of resilience and technological marvel hidden beneath the Antarctic ice. Antartica explores themes of survival, human-robot interaction, and the relentless pursuit of knowledge amidst the harshest conditions.

After L&L Diving Service recruited unknowingly a country, Jean-Eric unknowingly recruited some of the world with her. Aurora is a new recruit, the country/continent of Antarctica, and once was told a story about the Song of Dragons by America. She graduated the college England offered with a marine and medical degree, and went to apply for a diving service. Countries that are recruited: Italy, Romano, Germany, America, England, France, Rome, and Canada. For some reason, Egypt will sabotage at some point when they're close. I don't own Hetalia, or Endless Ocean. All I own is my OC Antarctica. And the idea and a very few twists.
