After her mothers death when Elizabeth Swann was only eight, it changes her fathers trajectory where he wants to keep her in his life as long as he can rather then sending her out to society to marry a man just because society deems that she has to. So when she comes of age to be debuted to society, he lets every man that even looks, speaks or dances with his daughter that they are not good enough for her and never will be, scaring each and every suitor off. But he's not the only one who has that tactic for their family friend Anthony Bridgerton, who even though he was the oldest of his family had still yet to marry and on top of finding the perfect suitor for his sister, he finds his eyes being drawn to Elizabeth, seeing not only her kind heart but how beautiful of a young woman she had become. Turning every suitor away that looked at her the way that he unknowingly was, feeling himself going mad with how much she was consuming him.

It seems as though this courting season will be quite the one to remember. With the Duke and His sister in town both capturing the eyes of the Bridgerton family perhaps we will have two weddings to remember. This author does think however that things may go terribly wrong.
