In order to improve the cooperation between the FBI and the other alphabet agencies, Erin Strauss - the Section Chief of the Behavioral Analysis Unit - decides to send a member of her unit as a liaison to NCIS. The chosen liaison between these two agencies is Special Agent Yoni Potter-O'Connell. At NCIS, she is assigned to Supervisory Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs' team on the renowned Major Case Response Team. Together with this team, she investigates various cases from murder to disappearances and even terrorism, which mainly targets the Navy. Who would be the other members of this renowned team? Would Yoni stay with NCIS or return to the FBI's BAU? Will the strong friendship between her and the team's Senior Field Agent Tony DiNozzo stay that way? Or would it grow into something more?
