This was a funny thing I thought of while watching one of the awful remakes of Home Alone and I thought "hm, won't it be funny if I did a remake of Home Alone but with Sweeney Todd characters?" And yeah, here it is. Of course the one being left home alone is Toby and I just thought it would be funny if Sweeney and Nellie accidentally leave him alone in the pie shop while they go on a Christmas vacation with Anthony and Johanna (yes, they are also in this story and they have children)

Jack (from winter in wartime) x Anthony (from Sweeny Todd) Jack, flying though the air, crashes into the ocean, thankfully, a ship was nearby and saw the crash, a rescue team goes down and rescues the pilot.

Sweeney is upset with Nellie for lying to him, but he spares her life, unable to bring himself to harm someone so dear to him. Nellie is deeply hurt, feeling sad to have caused Sweeney such pain, and fearing that she'll never get to repair things with him. Despite all the pain though, they can't help but still care for each other just as much as they did before.

Something draws them together yet pushes them apart simultaneously. A songbird romance has a false lyric. Cooped up in authority you can go bitter... or you can go mad. Benjamin Barker returns to London as Sweeney Todd and meets the perfect ally while Anthony Hope meets a nightingale and a crow who teach him his own naivety. Maida Fogg just wants to get out of her own asylum. Twisting tales have always made a good read. yet what of a good life?
