Eve turned to him, and they were once again face to face, mere inches apart. He couldn't look away from her, mesmerized by her eyes that seemed to glimmer in the light. He noticed her lean in a little closer, ever so slightly, then stop, never breaking eye contact. Eventually he caught himself, backing away and looking back at the lyre to show her the next note. He had to control himself, what he felt was... illogical. ---Just a little sample :))) Description: Eve is a cultural anthropologist aboard Starbase eight, but what happens when a certain captain informs her boss that his ship is in need of a new head anthropologist? Join Eve as she adjusts to life aboard the Enterprise. New friends, new experiences, and maybe.. something more? Spock isn't like anyone she's ever met, and not just because of his pointed ears and greenish complexion. Has been #1 in: Spock, Star Trek, Spock X OC, Commander Spock, Vulcan, Kirk, Uhura, Sulu, Chekov, Enterprise *I do not own any of the characters except the OC, Eve!!*

*Disclaimer* I am in no way affiliated with Bones on Fox, and the copyright to all characters goes to Hart Hanson and Kathy Reichs. The story is a completely fictional figment of my imagination.* 18 year old Jocelyn Evans has been looking forward to a career in Forensic Anthropology since she could remember. When the body of a missing girl turns up at her high profile girls academy, the Jeffersonian team is called into action. Right from the start, Jocelyn locks antlers with resident forensic anthropologist, Dr. Temperance Brennan. As the investigation continues, both Jocelyn and Dr. Brennan find that in order to continue, they require information which the other person possesses.

A transgender woman on the biology, sociology, and history of the gender spectrum. Gender variance is nothing new. Our stories have been told as far back as the 23rd Century BCE. CHECKMATE, TRANSPHOBES! Our chromosomes come in all different variations, and even transgress into other chromosomal systems of different species, eventually transcending all the way back to asexual roots. CHECKMATE, NECKBEARDS! This is the book I wish I'd had when I first began transitioning. I had to look all over the place to find the answers - even just the questions - I was looking for. So I wrote this as a sort of bite-sized one-stop-shop on some of the different concepts that make us who we are. I hope the information found here can help others as much as it helped me. This book is also available in paperback and kindle formats at https://www.amazon.com/Talk-Softly-Carry-Stick-Pride/dp/1719068933/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1539311722&sr=8-1

Meredith, aka Mer or MC, is the 18-year-old daughter of Seeley Booth and Temperance Brennan. While visiting the Lincoln Memorial on a field trip, a group of third graders discovered a set of human remains. The FBI and the Jeffersonian were called in to investigate. Bones and Meredith identified the remains as those of young Caucasian woman. Meredith aided the case by using a technique known as facial reconstruction to help put a face to the victim. Angela ran a picture of the finished forensic sculpture through missing persons and got a hit. The remains were those of a 20-year-old freelance writer and anthropologist from Mississippi. Her killer turns out to be a jealous co-worker.

In the enigmatic town of Autumn Creek, where the mist conceals secrets and the silence echoes with mysteries, three lives intertwine in a tale of resilience, redemption, and the pursuit of truth. Desperate for answers, a group unravels the threads that bind their fates in a town shrouded in both beauty and decay. Ivy Jones, once a cacophony, finds herself drifting afloat in the quiet monotony of the town's timeless silence. A tenacious investigator, Ivy grapples with the town's haunting mysteries by day while confronting her worst nightmares. As she forges unlikely bonds with those near and far, Ivy discovers that healing and love can bloom even in the shadows. Mari Vega, a hurricane force of strength, is living with one foot in the grave. As she wages war between her haunting past and the relentless demands of her present, between the comfort of meek kindness and the rapture of newfound power, she finds herself in the middle of the decades-old curse. Can Mari live up to the mask she's put on or will the facade come crumbling down? Joaquin Alvarez, a mysterious 26-year-old with deep roots in the history of Autumn Creek, offers a unique perspective. Amid the decay and silence, Joaquin holds the key to the town's secrets and perhaps to some of Ivy's own. As the trio's paths converge, his knowledge proves more useful than he could have ever known, propelling them toward an unsettling revelation. Together, Ivy, Mari, and Joaquin navigate the ethereal landscapes of a town caught between time and turmoil. The story unfolds in a symphony of perspectives, each voice weaving its own tapestry of love, loss, and liberation. In "Petals and Blossoms," the trio's intertwined destinies shed light on the shadows, offering a glimpse into the silent heart of a town that holds more than just secrets-it holds the keys to redemption.

"God why in the world am I stuck with you?" I demand as I glare at the child in front of me, okay 'he' wasn't a child but his last name really promoted his childlike tendencies. He was a brat. An annoying, jerkish brat. He rolls his eyes at me and retorts, "The real question is why am I stuck with you? Do you even work here?" He demands as he pushes out his chest like a caveman. Misogynist. "I had a meeting on the 16th floor." I state professionally when really all I want to do is stamp my foot on his, with my heels. The brat deserves it. "Well I work here." Like that's some great feat or something. "You could have taken another elevator." He was right I could've waited another 12 minutes for another elevator to arrive, but I thought that maybe for once the child could act his age. He seemed all professional in his suit and tie. He didn't even notice me until I opened my big fat mouth to tell him which floor. Just as I'm about to retort, the elevator creaks. This day sucks!
