Set in 2024, the story takes place 30 years after the events of Silverlake, where evolved animals were finally accepted into human society thanks to Emily and Nathan's friendship, which made history worldwide. Unfortunately, there are still humans who harbor prejudice against evolved animals, but the extreme prejudice of the past has ceased. This novella tells the story of Peter, a 10-year-old boy who is an evolved animal, but genetically different from the rest of the population. Feared and excluded, he is seen as "the next stage in the evolution of evolved animals", suffering prejudice from both evolved animals and humans. His life changes when he meets Travis and Karina, two 10-year-old human kids. Karina suffers xenophobia for being Brazilian and Travis suffers racism for being biracial. The true friendship that blooms between them teaches Peter that it's okay to be different and that asking for help is a sign of strength. Being unique is the true wonder. Following the suggestion of my friend, Tsu Kheel, I decided to try to expand the universe of my second book, Silverlake. And the cover art was done by myself and my best friend, NOTG. Yes, we did this art together, where I drew two human characters and he drew one furry character, in addition to coloring the entire drawing. But years after he matured and was let back into the woods, a top secret lab built by the Body Works Corporation for animal and human experimenting took him by force as a test subject. The Corporation is trying to create a species of super humans to take the place of humanity so that the world would be a better and safer place. But the government won't allow the project to happen. So the CEO, Raul Castro, made it where the super humans only listen to him and is taking the project into his own hands and funding it himself. He takes Max because he wants these super humans to have the wit and keen senses of a fox, and many other animal attributes. Now, it's up to Max and Jessie to try to show the world what Raul plans on doing with humanity.
