Nastya Pavlov was forced to flee Ukraine with her family at a young age as the country was ravaged by war. Her family found safety and prosperity in immigrating to the United States, but life came crashing down around them when Nastya was diagnosed with a chronic blood disorder that demanded expensive medical care.
