Glinda Upland, the Good Witch of the North, has indirectly caused the death of Nessarose Thropp, the Wicked Witch of the East and Dictator of Munchkinland, and has come to Munchkinland to mourn her. Elphaba Thropp, the Wicked Witch of the West and Nessarose's sister, arrives shortly after to mourn as well. She is furious with Glinda for betraying her. Prince Fiyero Tigelaar, the former Captain of the Gale Force, is determined to ensure that Elphaba escapes alive. Dorothy Gale, a girl from Kansas, USA, Earth, has crash-landed in the middle of Munchkinland, inadvertently killing Nessarose Thropp, and she just wants to get home with her Dog, Toto. This is a rewrite of the Wicked - For Good scene where Elphaba and Glinda fight, only to be interrupted by the Gale Force, then by Fiyero who saves Elphaba at his own expense. The change made? Dorothy is now actually present.

On the day the college entrance exams ended,Yang Mo dreamed of a wailing infant. In the dream, she stood before the decaying doors of an abandoned church, crimson light bleeding through the cracks like fresh wounds. When she stumbled into that derelict chapel during her travels, the world froze as the bells tolled. Her eyes opened to Republican-era attire clinging to her body, arms cradling a newborn who hadn't yet learned to cry. She never imagined this journey would unravel a half-buried sin-not escape, but excavation of decades-old darkness. Chapter1 On the day the college entrance exams ended,Yang Mo slept twenty hours straight. Transitioning between mental states never came easily to her, especially shifting from intense study to relaxation. So when her desk mate invited her on an adventure-a"summer photography tour"to a little-known southern town-she agreed. The destination boasted Western architecture,Japanese occupation relics, and a not-yet-commercialized"Haunted Church." "They say you can hear children crying there at night,"her friend said, scrolling through Xiaohongshu photos."Perfect for beating the heat, right?" Yang Mo shrugged. She just wanted to escape her familiar neighborhood and overbearing family,to wander alone photographing tree shadows, stone walls, and that decaying chapel. The church stood beside their refurbished hostel, its crumbling stone walls veined with ivy, more haunting under moonlight than daylight. At dusk, drawn by the half-open back door, she slipped inside. The cold here felt different-not dampness, but the dry chill of aged paper and forgotten ashes.A cracked Madonna statue hung above the altar, one shattered glass eye weeping light. Near a well's gaping mouth, something glinted-a vintage camera lens. When her fingers brushed it,a seismic boom reverberated through her skull.Darkness swallowed her.The last thing she saw was the Madonna's fractured eye pivoting to stare as she fell.
