When her brothers Eteocles and Polyneices are killed in a battle for the kingship, her uncle Creon, the new ruler, allows one to be buried, while the other is condemned to the battlefield. If anyone buried him, they went against the king. Antigone couldn't let this go. Nothing good could come of this.

An Original Adaptation of the tragedy by Sophocles. A Devoted Sister, Defiant Princess. Cursed. Loved. Feared. Adored.

Before the play begins, I would like to present a dilemma. Let's say someone is accused of committing a crime, but the accused fully believes what they did was right. While on trial, should one plead guilty to doing wrong and risk validating the law? Or should one plead innocent at the risk of invalidating their own suffering? Remi isn't too sure, but she can damn well act as if she knew. An adaptation of the Greek Tragedy, "Antigone," made by Sophocles, written as if it were being acted out by UnOrdinary characters. All credits go to Uru-chan for making the characters and universe of UnOrdinary.

Antigone has a gift. She can dance with butterflies and they understand her. One day the butterflies disappear, and don't return. She worries, and with her younger siblings, Mo-Mo and Tulip, she doesn't know what to do.

In my English class, we were reading the play "Antigone". After finishing the book, I had a few ideas about a poem, so I wrote about the play. For those of you that haven't read "Antigone", not all of the symbolism might make sense, but I hope you still enjoy it.

Antigone Rex is the eldest daughter of King Oedipus and Queen Jocasta of Thebes. Pronunciation: Antigone (AN-TEA-GO-KNEE) Oedipus (ED-EH-POO-SS) Jocasta (YO-COST-A) Merope (MARE-RO-PEE) Ismene (IS-MAY-NAY) Polynices (POL-UH-NAHY-SEEZ) Eteocles (IH-TEE-UH-KLEEZ) *DISCLAIMER* This is only loosely based off the play Oedipus Rex and Antigone by Sophocles. The story was originally written to be a Supernatural fan fiction, but the idea was voided within the first three paragraphs of Chapter 1. Positive feedback and criticism is welcome. So this isn't the part where it's revealed that Carson and I had an affair. Or that I loved him. Or that he was my secret best friend or long-lost brother. All Carson Harris was to me was some boy who went to my school who I would probably never ever see again after college But, evidently, Carson Harris knew me. Knew me well enough to write my name out before he died. Or, should I say, before Carson Harris got murdered.

They fight cheerleaders. They run away together. All-in-all, this is just the beginning of any high school friendship right? Takes Place during The Battle of the Labyrinth and The Last Olympian. Author's Note: Although the characters follow the book descriptions, this is not the place to express any displeasure (or worse) with the casting of the new Disney+ Show.
