In the world of Eryndor, the wars of kings have long since ended, yet the ashes of their destruction still blanket the land. Cities lie in ruins, forests have become fields of gray dust, and the sky itself seems to have forgotten the warmth of true sunlight.
Amid these remnants lives Kael, an orphan raised in a remote village on the edge of Qorvath. Since childhood, he has been haunted by visions of black fire, ancient whispers, and a winged figure calling his name from an endless sea of ash.
When his village is destroyed by mysterious creatures known as the Ashborn, Kael discovers that he carries the Ashen Soul, an ancient power believed to have vanished thousands of years ago with the first civilization of Eryndor.
The Ashen Soul grants him the ability to manipulate ash, dark flame, and the lingering energy of death, but each time he uses it, a part of his humanity slowly erodes.
Hunted by kingdoms, feared by holy orders, and sought by a cult determined to awaken The Hollow King, Kael must decide whether he will become:
the savior of Eryndor, or
the final catastrophe that consumes it.
His journey will lead him through dead cities, forgotten castles, endless ash deserts, and ancient secrets that reveal his soul is directly connected to the fall of the old world itself.
