Sam and the Elders are calling for the packs to rejoin as the Cullens prepare to leave Forks. Jacob can't procrastinate making a decision any longer, but he refuses to leave any of his pack, especially not Leah, under Sam's control unless that's really what they want. So Leah finally gets put herself first and do what she's wanted to do for years- Run.

Leah Clearwater and Rosalie Hale are NOT friends. They simply tolerate each other. However, they both have people they don't like but can't complain about to anyone else.

Years later everyone realizes Leah was always right.
