A short story about a love that was never really there

I shoved him away as the tears flooded my face. I can't cry. I refuse, but the water wins the battle. He grabs my arm. "Let me show you that love isn't such a bad thing," he said. The same face that I had just seen with another girl, now telling me to believe in love. "Let me tell you that behind every cynic of love, there's a story of heartbreak. I'm not an exception." And I walked away. If this were the perfect movie, he'd come chasing after me. But this isn't Hollywood, and I'm not Kate Hudson, so as you can probably imagine...he watched me leave. I'm also not a singer, so I can't really pull a T Swift and jam out on my guitar in the rain, crooning a song about heartbreak. I'm just an average girl, who walked in on her ex boyfriend shoving his dick up some girls vagina. Joy. Now, let me explain...

You know those ridiculously cliché stories you read about the girl and boy and how they fall in love in high school and live happily ever after. This is not one of those stories. My name's Ana Valentine and happy endings, my friend, are complete bull-shit. I hate clichés. I hate false hope. And I hate Xavier Cortez for being the biggest cliché bad boy I've ever met. This is my story and quick spoiler, it is anything but cliché.
