The story timeline is set towards the end of the 5 year leap, when Anu and Anuj return to India for Dimple's wedding. Taking off after Anuj calls Anu offering to help her de-stress in Ep 1322 - when Ishani was hospitalized after Hasmukh gave her the wrong medication. Thereafter it shift to an alternate reality but all the characters still exist in this universe acting pretty close to their show personalities. Inspired by many Fan fictions. I thought of writing something for my MaAn. Sometimes I think what if Anuj had applied sindoor in Anupama's partings during that Diwali night when Baa offered Anuj to marry Anupama. How would have their life turned at that time. So here is an attempt to show MaAn's love-story in different perspective. I'm not a writer. That's why saying sorry before beginning the chapter... Sorry for typo- mistakes and whatever you don't like. But I promise I'll try my best for my MaAn . I'm little worried but as Anupama says - Pehla kadam hamesha mushkil hota hai but hume himmat kar ke uthana hi padta hai. So I'm taking my first step and beginning the beautiful journey of MaAn . Anupama is very kind, loving, down-to-earth and extremely caring wife and mother. She is not educated but has high family values and is extremely great cook. Anupama never asks for anything in return but doesn't get the same love and appreciation from her husband, Vanraj and kids, Paritosh and Pakhi. However, her younger son, Samar has great respect for her mother. Vanraj is very rude to his wife and thinks she is not a suitable match for him and not up to his class. Vanraj has extra-marital affair with her collegue, Kavya. One day, Anupama catches her husband, Vanraj red handed with Kavya. She breaks all ties with her husband but chooses to live in the same house for the sake of her in-laws and kids. She chooses to follow her passion of being a cooking teacher. Anuj Kapadia A successful businessman; Anupamaa's college friend apparently had a one-sided thing for Anupama who later got married to Vanraj but now that the latter is out of the picture, the businessman is making all efforts to woo the lady.
