Writing this story was one of the most difficult and deeply personal experiences of my life. Choosing to share it required a level of courage I never thought I possessed. When I was asked to put my experiences into words for a suicide awareness event, I struggled with the decision. For decades, I had buried those memories inside what I can only describe as a locked black box within my mind - hidden away in silence, fear, and pain. I never imagined I would one day revisit the abuse I endured throughout my childhood, teenage years, and adulthood at the hands of people who were supposed to love, protect, and guide me - family members, friends, and even trusted religious figures who stole my innocence as a child. The trauma I survived included mental, physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. Those experiences left lasting scars that followed me into adulthood, leading to lifelong battles with PTSD, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and severe social anxiety. For many years, I suffered in silence. Today, I share my story not for sympathy, but for understanding. I want people to see the reality of trauma, the damage it leaves behind, and the strength it takes to survive it. Most importantly, I hope my story helps others who may be facing similar pain know they are not alone. If these words can help educate, inspire healing, or break the cycle of silence for even one person, then telling my truth will have been worth it. - Adrian "Smokie" Ruiz

*cover drawing is NOT mine. credits to the respective artist.* Story revolving around Guest 1337 and Matt, who finds himself unable to bear the endless hell of Forsaken. Together, they overcome emotional hitches, even if they can no longer remain strong, slowly losing the little sanity left in them. !! This story may contain gruesome descriptions of violence and somewhat depictions of trauma. Themes like depression, anxiety, overdosing, alcohol abuse and self harm will be mentioned. May contain suggestive parts. Apologies if my grammar isn't impeccable, my native language isn't English. Story will be found in ao3 shortly after I publish the completed version here.

In a realm where human nervous systems extend beyond the body as invisible "plumes", most people move through life unaware of how deeply they spill into one another. Only Lucy, hyper-attuned, can perceive the constant exchange of emotional force fields that shape every interaction, from fleeting contact to crowded silence. While others remain blind to their impact, Lucy must navigate a city where dysregulation becomes physical intrusion and even brief proximity can overwhelm the body, leaving her to confront what it means to stay intact. As she travels through spaces saturated with unspoken entanglements, Lucy learns that connection is not inherently safe, and distance is not always protection. But when she begins to notice patterns others ignore, she is forced to confront a disturbing possibility: the world isn't simply unregulated, it is built on collective denial of what it truly means to touch another mind, and Lucy alone may have to face that truth.

"Some of us are still going through more, but we choose not to die before dying". "You only cry for help when you are sure that there is help to cry for". For Alicia Bergwels, moving from Colchester to the United States wasn't a dream,it was a sentence. Carrying the invisible, suffocating weight of anxiety, Alicia has spent her entire life believing she is a broken thing, a girl destined to disappoint everyone who loves her. She didn't want a new beginning; she wanted to fade into the background. But in the halls of Fox River, the silence she uses for protection begins to fail. Through an unexpected connection with a mentor who refuses to let her hide and a voice that demands to be heard, Alicia is forced to confront the one thing she fears more than the world, herself. This isn't just a story about high school or a complicated romance. It is a raw, unflinching look at what it means to carry a second heart,a heart that beats for no one but your own anxiety, and the grueling, beautiful process of learning to let it beat for you instead. From the dark, suffocating grip of panic attacks to the soaring, terrifying freedom of a stage, Alicia must learn that her "tender, breaking heart" isn't a weakness,it's her greatest strength. What about me? Why can't I stand out? This is the question I've been asking myself for a few years now, thinking that "tomorrow" I will finally become the person I want to be. Truth is, I don't know what it means to be "successful," and I've never excelled at anything. And, as you get older, that feeling of invisibility seems to hurt just a little bit more than before. SUCCESS, TALENT, DUTY, BEAUTY... Why can everyone else do it and I can't? This is the reality for so many young people all over the world. But why can't we just live without the pressure to stand out? Why does it feel like we are drowning in a teacup?
