After a year of searching, the gang has finally found where Aoba has been kept, and are going to bring him back home. But will they be able to help Aoba return to the same cheerful boy everyone loves and remembers, or is he far too broken to fix? Rating might increase. Zia Seragaki is the twin sister of Aoba Seragaki and Tae-san's granddaughter. Zia is a lot more spunky than most of the girls around town. She can defend herself, and Aoba from time to time, from gang members, perverts and drunken jackasses. However, like her brother, she has her own friend group and has a job as an auto repairwoman. While, yes, she and her brother look a lot alike, there are things about them that are very different. For example, these are the following... Aoba suffers from constant chronic headaches, while she suffers from nightmares and insomnia... Aoba prefers upbeat and feel-good music, where as she likes rock or indie music... Aoba has people complementing him on his voice, while Zia gets complimented on her hands... When their childhood friend, Koujaku, and three other men come into their lives, it leads to the twins discovering something about themselves that could put their lives, and the lives of others, in horrible danger. While her friends split with one of Aoba's, Zia gets coincidentally paired up with Koujaku and are forced to face the past in order to stop the man responsible for the madness. But, Koujaku's been really secretive lately and Zia is getting worried. What happened to him before he returned to Midorijima? Trip is a lot like fog: not in an artistic or poetic way, but because he simply exists in Virus's life. Childish curiosity thrust Trip into the depths of darkness, not because he trusted that someone would be there to catch him in their arms, but rather a lack of care whether the pit he fell into would be deep enough to be fatal. It turns out that no, it was not fatal. It was not safe, either. So Virus is stuck in the haze with only his arms' length of sight to guide him through the motions. He scopes with baited breath and tugs tight on the short leash he has on Trip, fearing that the tighter he yanks the more it will fray.

Aoba and Ren decided they want Sly to have his own body so he can experience what they do at the same time, they want him in their lives as well. Ren managed to transfer from one body to another, so why can't it also work with Sly? But like Ren, there is a catch.

As technology advances, the use of AllMates has dwindled amongst the government and higher echelon. Jobs formerly done by lower-class humans have been replaced with androids. Government couriers and bodyguards, even police AllMates, have been replaced with something on the more disturbing side. Genetically altered humans, known as Anima. Though expensive, their worth outlives that of former workers and AllMates. Instead of spending a week in the shop, Anima heal one another in mere hours. Anima don't need to be paid, and hold undying loyalty for those they serve. Most of all, Anima cannot survive without a Limiter, a human who serves as their leash, much like a master to an android. Anima cannot turn on a Limiter. Thus, Anima cannot turn on humanity.
