Optimus Prime x Reader. Take place during Age of Extinction.

Drift's blue eyes gazed at the sleeping beauty. Her auburn hair draped down her shoulders, hands rested underneath her head and her breathing came out slow and even while she laid there in peaceful slumber. 'I will protect you Penelope!' After being the sole survivor of a Cemetery Wind attack, Penelope Blythe fled off the grid and hid in isolation for nearly five years until one fateful day a wounded Drift stumbled across her path. Feeling sympathy for his plight, she provided Drift some shelter and nursed him back to health. However in doing so Penelope is now caught up in the crossfires of a battle between flesh and metal including old enemies who want to properly tie up loose ends. Drift vows to keep Penelope safe, but that's easier said than done when you have to deal with a dishonourable bounty hunter and the threat of extinction looming on the hortizon. At the start of the war for Cybertron, the scramble for power lead one noble warrior with hunger for battle, a dying breed of cybertronian, and left with only one choice, join the destruction and dominion seaking Decepticons, or the Peace keeping warrior rebellion, the Autobots. Many feared the obvious, but were shocked by the inevitable.

It was just an ordinary summer evening. The sun was setting, and the warm day was cooling down. I was going back home from work. To be fair, I was really wealthy. I had a big, beautiful, wonderful house, and a garage full of cars. I was I car dealer. My dad kind of handed it down to me. It's the best job in the world! As I approached the house, I reached for my house keys and opened the door. That fragrance of lavender hits me as soon a I open e door. The smell/scent always relaxes me. It's been very stressful day at work. I had to sort out the budget I had of $2,000,000. I had just found a great deal on a very deep blue Bugatti. I knew I was gonna sell that beauty in no time. But I had other cars to buy as well. It was very stressful trying to sort it all out. But in the end I did it! I walk over the seating area, flick my shoes off and throw my purse on the floor and jump on the couch. It's so nice and comfy, also very warm. I almost fall asleep until I hear a load honking noise. Danica always thought she was normal. But when she goes away to New York, she finds out the truth. She realizes her Camaro is the Autobot Bumblebee when he rescues her from her drunk dad and agrees to get her and her brother Ryan to New York. They later meet up with the other Autobots and Danica has quite a shock.

Well, this begins with the fight with Optimus and Lockdown - where he basically gets sliced in half with Optimus' Knight's sword from the arm of Lockdown's ship. After all of this, Optimus does leave Earth, and doesn't come back for some time. After five or so years, he does return, still with the seed in his possession. But with his return, Yeager seems to find it hard to live the possibility that Optimus will leave again, so naturally he avoids the big mech. " Son of a glitch... " Crosshairs cursed out between grinted dentas and tried to find another way to sit, everything hurt, and he was leaking. This couldn't get worse... And just as he said that he sensed the presence of another being, slowly looking around he felt himself panic until his optics landed on a human femme. Long black hair, a long slim body and crystal green eyes looking up at him, she didn't look scared at all, in fact she looked... curious. ---- With the autobots being hunted down, they are scattered world wide. Crosshairs is on the run alone, he is dangerusly injured and close to a shut down. When he finds a place to rest he relax just a bit. When a young woman finds him, he isn't exactly pleased about her, but when she tell that she might have a way to safe his life, he suddenly becomes much more manageable.
