She's so alone. Always alone. She can't find anyone that's would take her, after what's happened to her. Her parents abandoned her, her so called "boyfriend" abandoned her. She's all alone now. He's done some things he's not so proud of, and he's hoping a new start will erase all the bad, but when he moved he didn't expect to find someone so alone, so scared, so weak. He just had to help her, he had to make sure she was ok, he had to take care of her, no matter what. And he didn't even know anything about her yet!! He just had to keep her safe, but she wouldn't let him. She pushed him away so he couldn't help her. She doesn't want him to help. She hates him, yet she doesn't even know him. She doesn't want to let anyone inside her heart, it's to broken. Is this story just doomed for sadness? Or can they maybe find some happiness somewhere? Read and find out. "Is it that impossible for me to like you?" she asks and takes a step closer. My breathing gets heavier as she takes another step. Then I stop breathing. Her palm is resting on my cheek. Her dark eyes looking into mine light up my world at that moment. With a tiny voice I answer, "I don't know. You tell me." A smile plays on her lips as she leans in even closer. I didn't know there could be a closer until she's so close she's brushing her lips against mine. My heart is crumbling down and I'm surprised I can even stand. "I like you, Drew", she whispers and the closer becomes even closer as she kisses me. The rules of marriage have changed. Every new born is given a necklace with certain numbers which will match the one and only Soulmate. It's all depending on a planned destiny. The government is playing a game. Nothing will come between the Soulmates not even a different love. From the day they become eighteen until they're twenty they have to find the Soulmate. Drew has find her Soulmate but that Soulmate's necklace doesn't match hers. Will that be as much of a problem as the government makes you believe?
