Finn Bay, a ghoul working as a florist's apprentice, finds his next target in S.K., a teenage bike mechanic with a crush on his new friend, Evelin. Finn crashes his bike for an excuse to see S.K. and in the process gives himself a nasty head injury that needs a huge dose of happiness to heal. Now that his fate depends on it, Finn gets pulled into helping S.K. and Evelin fall in love and stay that way, but an amateur "demon hunter" named Bruno wants to "defeat" him and win Evelin over for himself. Everyone seems to have put their faith in Finn, but what does he know about love? He's just a ghoul.
