(Wheatley x reader) Human test subjects had been phased out by Aperture long time ago due to "Humanitarian reasons". Since the tests require human subjects, Aperture had been developing a humanoid android that was capable of performing as a substitute for real people and provide valid data for the sake of science. (Y/n) was a personality core transferred into the latest HumAlt model before everything went to shit. (Hey! A portal 2 fanfic in 2021, who would've thought? *this is going to be a humanoid!Wheatley one, im sorry to disappoint core!Wheatley lovers :>)

After some recent events she experienced *chough Episode 8 chough*, she figured that she needed a break from everything. But then, she sees a flyer which will lead her into her most craziest adventure yet.

[Before this book starts I just want to clarify that this is my first ever legit story so I'll be almost as sorry as Wheatley if it turns out bad. I also want to clarify that it contains spoilers of the real game.] So there he was, the core was there, floating aimlessly throughout the cold, vast space for eternity, with his so called 'Space Partner', trying to keep himself amused. And there she was, the dangerous, mute, lunatic, out of Aperture. Wandering upon the wheat field about her. The core and the mute had had their times, their moments, good and bad, they don't have much in common. Except for one emotion...

A fanfic that takes place after Portal 2, from Chell's P.O.V.

Lumi was created in portal 1, but was never revealed. She was created with the objective to "Assist everyone". So she proclaimed herself to be the Assistance core. As time went on, she finds other cores and helps them out. At first, she doesn't have much of a personality but as time goes on and the more cores she meets, she develops her own personality. I don't own any of the characters in this story, except for Lumi, I do not own Portal. Portal 1 and 2 belongs to Valve and other characters belong to Harry Callaghan or Harry101UK on YouTube.

Chell ran, her boots pounding against the catwalk below her. Her heart beat echoed in her ears as she wove her way around the corners, trying to keep up with the tall, gangly man named Wheatley in front of her. Wheatley wasn't exactly running. He was more skidding along and trying not to fall over.

When (to her luck) a bumbling little robot drops in for a reunion after years of being stranded in space, they find themselves in a situation that none of them had planned out. Now, in a desperate attempt for her forgiveness--all while trying to figure out that interesting, difficult, and tedious little thing called humanity--Wheatley realises there's a lot more to being human than he first thought, and Chell figures out that second chances can make all the difference. Fifteen years after what happened when they were teens, Justin and Elaine are finally living a normal life, until something goes completely wrong. What's going to happen? If only I could... then nothing would've ever happened.

This takes place before the beginning of Portal 2, the name synonymous with the chapter names of the game. This is a small collection of short stories leading up to the start of the game. There's one test subject left, and he isn't sure if he should wake her. Meanwhile, he attempts to occupy himself by trying to make friends with the few beings in the facility and consuming other forms of media he's not familiar with, all with the purpose of avoiding his anxious thoughts and loneliness.
