20 year old Y/N is the new Legend in the Apex Games. But how will she navigate this change in her life after the very crisis that led to her joining the team becomes more and more difficult to solve? This is post season 21 so Octane's "Pop's" is no more (thanks Revenant..). This is a longer type of story, we're looking at around 50-100 chapters, I guess you could consider this a "slow burn" type of story. Sean "Uther" at first glance looks like a nobody. But delve deeper into his past, one will see the corruption that was around him and would be surprised as how he turned out now but he was a recluse and a cold person which would naturally push people away without him ever meaning it. He learned of the Apex games after his little scuffle with a now deceased head manager of Chevrex Inc. Claiming his bounty for his kill, he couldn't help but be attracted to this games after he did some research. In this new life, would he thrive? Would he fall? Or would things go sour, as things usually go for him.

After Boodhound uses an unaware Mirage for a nightly training session, they express their gratitude to the decoy deploying legend. As time goes on they learn that perhaps the Mirage the universe knows isn't his true self.

When you tried to run away from home you didn't expect to go into a portal and end up in a bloodsport. That kind of stuff only happened in movies. All the kills in the world never seemed this appealing or interesting. The Apex games made him feel as if this was the only way he could find her in more than one situation. Was it the fact that while she laid there cold and lifeless he felt incomplete, or was it the fact no matter how many times he killed her again and again, she always gave him a smile. I opened the door to get in when a raven landed on the rolled-down window. I yelped as it pecked my hand and huffed out a curse. It cawed a few times before fluffing up. It turned its head sideways as it looked at me. The raven hissed and snapped its beak towards me and I took a step back into another body. I screamed out and turned around while forgetting about the raven. "I do not mean to scare you," The helmeted person from before was now in front of me, "Artur seems to have taken a liking to show off for you." I stared at the large goggles that were tilted down towards me. I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out. I quickly closed it as a quick nip landed on my underside. I jumped again and away from the rover. "Artur," The masked person seemed to purr to the bird, "Come, get out of their way." The raven sounded again before flapping its wings and taking flight away. I watched as it flew in a wide circle before landing on the shoulder of its owner. I turned my gaze back to the person. They seemed to watch me for a moment.

After the IMC left, the Frontier was left devastated by the war. People had to scavenge for what little they could find. The truly desperate moved to the Outlands, a group of planets on the brink of the known world, wild and untamed. And it was in this final bastion of civilization that the Apex Games were born. People came from all over the Outlands to fight in this blood sport. The competitors could achieve fame and fortune, bringing hope back to the Frontier as crowds cheered their name. These people were more than just fighters. They were Legends.
