I think I wrote this like two years ago but I cried when reading it again so I'm posting it here bc I love for angst and I'm crying bc fanfic and also Pokémon GO! is bein' a little bitch to me I'm working on like 5 lemons I'll get them done eventually. After being fatally wounded, England lives to see another day but with one problem: most of his memories are gone! Now it's up to America to help the Brit remember just who he is and what he's been through in his life. It will be painful, for him and America, trying to remember everything, especially the wars, the revolution. But he'll do what it takes to get England back! USUK

In the middle of WW2, a young American solider named Alfred is the first to break Arthur's quiet shell. As they go more into war, Arthur finds himself not only befriending the young solider, but even falling in love with him. Their platoon moves out, settling into new war zones, but facing the truth though, any second could be their last, and he doesn't want to lose him.

Alfred is forgotten again on his birthday. Everyone knows he is there and makes fun of him but they can't remember anything other than his mistakes. The cover art is not mine.
