But, the further she delves, the more she finds out and she slowly starts to realise that some questions are better left unsolved. Especially the ones she's asking. The Girl Who Could Read is about a girl named Aphmau. The world she lives in makes girls stay home. Women and girls aren't allowed to read, get jobs and go to school. All girls must follow whoever is the man house's orders. Aphmau's life beings to fall apart once she picks up her brother. 2 years later after a certain incident that causes their family to break. Aphmau was able to tend to school. Will she able to keep her secret from her friends and family? Will she be caught?
