For almost three months, America has been at war, since a day that will live in infamy. For the rest of the allies, it has been three years. Kyle is exhausted, and knows the path of war is still long and unwinding before him. And yet here he sits in another meeting, listening to the others argue, tired and ready to head home and fight in the Pacific Theater, Alfred with him every step of the way. It is February 19th, 1942 at home in Australia, early in the morning. And yet here he is in the northern hemisphere, arguing with the other allies, and he cannot shake the feeling that something terrible is about to happen. At 9:58 AM, in Darwin, Australia, Kyle will learn how an attack on one's own soil can affect a personification first hand, and Alfred will make a vow to become death, destroyer of worlds.

As the joyous day draws nearer, Alfred learns that sometimes, the greatest Christmas miracles come in rather unexpected ways. Dedicated to @Music-girl_ , who catches my mistakes, typos, and screams at me through Messenger about throwing imaginary battle axes through the screen when I make her sad. For keeping me honest and on my toes, as well as encouraging me to write, I really want to thank you (and by thank I mean send you headcanons in the middle of the night, you're welcome!) Also dedicated to @CatcherOfStars , whose beautiful comments on so many of my fics in October reminded me why I maintain a Wattpad account, and how wonderful it is to have someone who lives half a world away enjoy something you put your heart and soul into.

The year is 1917, and the Great War is slowly drawing to a close, but the end can't come fast enough for the two nations from the Southern Hemisphere, exhausted and ready to go home and to try to resume a normal life. Kyle knows he's close to breaking. Even hearing the name of that cursed place aloud causes him pain, and he knows Avery feels the same. Then comes that stupid smiling American, with his talk of heroes and aide. And Kyle can't help but start to feel differently about Alfred. But developing such feelings in the middle of war can be a dangerous thing.

Romeo Vargas is a fellow teacher at MicroNations Primary School. This year, however, his class consists of Wendy Kirkland, Peter Kirkland, Erland Oxenstierna and Leopold Edelstein, who are starting to rebel back. With renewed feelings for the eldest Kirkland brother, his brothers willing to do anything to help him and his teacher friends, will he survive the school year? --- In which I mess up the school dates real bad. Ignore that.

Call it what you will, the Kirkland siblings have been reunited seven years after their mother was killed and they were scattered across the British Isles. And in this family, trouble seems to be around every corner. This story is still a work in progress, and the title is only a working title (such a shit title), so yeah. Logan, the eldest, creates unnecessary rivalry with a rugby coach. Oscar, the middle-born, tries not to let himself be walked over all over again. Charlie, the youngest, is struggling with identity issues. The Johnson siblings, who moved from Western Australia to New South Wales, are trying their best to fit in.

After France runs away with England's cat, the pair of them go to court once again over a custody issue. What could possibly be the solution to such a problem? And who is this mysterious couple's counsellor that everyone's heard so much about?
