As said by the title, these one shots will feature the Philippines, an OC, since he/she is (as of the time I am writing this) not an official character in Hetalia. ~ Philippines x Country ~ ~ Philippines x Reader ~ Enjoy! ----- NOTES: Philippines maybe a boy or girl depending on the one shot. Though, I will mostly portray the Philippines as a girl. In any instance that I make her a boy, it will be said at the beginning. This may also include parts of the Philippines such as Luzon, etc. Regions, provinces and cities may also have appearances. I don't own Hetalia or any other material (songs, pictures, etc.) used in this, unless I say so. I only own the story. I don't think anyone would even bother to read up to this point. Just a little story I wrote for 4th of July, which was YESTERDAY. It's just a quaint little story about two nations having a drink to celebrate the occasion and a bit about acceptance as stated in the title, so it's not exactly 'extraordinary'.

Spain is at the height of his power; constantly finding himself out of the house. But when he realizes that his little brother, Romano, is sick of being alone during his long trips away, Spain goes on a voyage in the hopes of finding his brother a "friend". When Spain overpowers a small country named Philippines-just off the coasts of Europe-, he reluctantly claims her as his own and brings the young country back home for Romano. Unfortunately, this sets off the notorious England and a few other countries, who were planning to take Philippines as their own colony before Spain rudely cut them off.The story of the young Philippines then begins.
