Aphrodite was no stranger to favourites, she had no shame about it either, despite what Hephaestus tried to tell her, they weren't FAVOURITES per say, they were the children she knew would be heroes, so really, she wasn't doing anything wrong. She had expected one of her children to end up being famous one day, what she hadn't expected was it NOT being her favoured daughter. And least of all the one who would become most famous.
