A disease took place upon the world and spread like the plague. Scientist and doctors had never seen anything like it before and each patient eventually died in their care. The real problem was that the patients didn't stay dead. They would wake and acted as if they were alive, but they weren't. Their hearts didn't beat, lungs didn't take in air. They began to attack people, eating them like cannibals. Those who were scratched, bit, or took in any of the dead's bodily substance in any way were infected and would soon have the same fate. Cities became abandoned and the population decreased rapidly. Those who survived went into groups, scavenging for anything they could get their hands on. The chapter names are names of TWD episodes but that doesnt equate to what actually happens (like chapter 2 being "The Grove") it has nothing to do with what happens in that episode just incase youre concerned lol Also in this AU the 7 bros arent actually related, they are like found family/sibling tho so no shipping em obviously (beel & belphie +lilith are the only ones actually related) There are some ships most notably DiaLuci & SoloAsmo thats ab the only actual ones rly. Others like Mam/MC, Solo/MC, Luci/OC are only mentioned.
