The year is 1970, the year after the popular Apollo 11 mission. The Soviet Union creates the X700 Scientific Research Spacecraft. The company who created the X700, Kookan Industries, obtained it once again after the Soviet Union stopped using it. As they try to launch it once more 3 decades later to observe a new planet recently discovered, they seemingly never paid attention to the underlying reason why it was stopped being used in the first place.
