Maybe using those waxed wings wasn't Icarus' best idea. Maybe he shouldn't have gone THAT close to the Sun, just so he could get a glimpse of the impossible. But it's not like he could bring time back now, could he? Meeting Death made a big change in the mortal's head, and not only his head. Meeting the cute God didn't help with his delusions of a beautiful,flower-field easy life. Something is not adding up though. Why is the forest Nymph so harsh to him and nobody else, and why there is an empty throne on the left of the God's one? What is hiding behind the closed doors of Mount Olympus that they refuse to give him a chance to live a normal life? Who is Icarus and what is hidden behind this crown-less prince? Read to find out. Apollo's honey words whispered into Icarus golden lips, and Icarus bold confessions screamed at Apollo's glistening skin.

They call me a fool for falling in love. They say I'm a cautionary tale; a tragedy. They point at the burns, red and ugly and snaking down my arm. If only they knew how I threw my head back and laughed as I soared, tasting freedom sweeter than the nectar of the Gods. How could I have been a tragedy when my bliss was so fervent that I had become blind to the pain? I was always meant to fall. I wouldn't have rather fallen for anyone else.
