Hogwarts makes one catastrophic mistake during the Triwizard Tournament: It invites Cumberland Academy of Appalachian Witchcraft. Hidden deep in the Appalachian Mountains, Cumberland is a redneck magical paradise filled with witches and wizards from Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, and beyond-where bluegrass is practically a second language, lassos count as school supplies, and "y'all behave" is considered a perfectly reasonable warning. Leading the chaos is eighteen-year-old Kentucky witch, Pokémon Trainer, banjo player, and proud redneck Milissa "Missy" Shell-Wataru-who also happens to be married to Indigo Champion Lance. Their arrival alone nearly destroys international diplomacy. But Hogwarts isn't prepared for Dueling Banjos, Appalachian hoedowns, whispered Pokémon innuendos, a suspiciously blurry photograph mistaken for a very unfortunate Weedle, Missy's secret moonshine stash, or Cumberland discovering that Lorelei can read lips. Poor Lance just wanted to watch his wife's Triwizard entrance. Instead, the Elite Four end up on the floor, Cumberland creates new Appalachian folklore, and Champion Lance learns one horrifying truth: Never give a bunch of rednecks an audience. Because Appalachia didn't come to Hogwarts to cause trouble. Trouble just heard the banjo and followed.

You come across notes left by past victims and the brothers themselves, as well as different weapons, and also puzzles to obtain keys to locked doors. Through fighting an 8-foot-tall mutant horse, you obtain the key to the garden, from which this fanfiction begins.

Set in the 1930's, a poor family, the Andersons, experience a lot of misfortune. There's many mysteries to solve. Everything ties together. This story was already up but I had to close the account. A rich, warm breeze caressed my face almost as gently as the feeling of the pad of her thumb that grazed my cheek. The sun fought to hang between fluffy white clouds, where the god I thought I knew lived. The soft grass beneath my fingers tickled the center of my palm and the leaves on the trees twisted and turned together so intricately I couldn't tell where one branch ended, and the other branch began. Those leaves seemed as though they were pressing against the sky, creating a pattern against the canvas of pastel blues, periwinkle grays, whites, and sunflower yellows. Willa and Halcyon guide each other through trials of love, friendship, trust, and growth in this coming of age YA novel based in the Appalachias. **this story does touch on themes of mental illness**
