As a present from her parents on her fourteenth birthday, she was disowned. Confusion flooded her mind as they approached a beautiful, fantasy like castle. Left there, she finds out that it's an asylum, meant for the critically insane. She started seeing apparitions everywhere having trouble differentiating between the real world and the dead world. Ashley, a former asylum patient, reaches out to Emma-Rose as an apparition and shows her the Arithmetic's of an Apparition.

Apparition is a series of events *real events* that I've heard from people. But it will be like a story compliled with these events with a little touch of twists and turns that pops up in my imagination. I can't or won't verify these events because ,well it's just folklore. And I'm not going to prove it to you that ghosts exists so lets just leave it to your perspective. Let's just say this is for anyone and everyone who like horrors and mysteries that aren't answered. ...my attention was trown to the cradle. I was able to get near it and see what was inside it. It was a crying baby boy... I center my attention across a corner of that room and i saw it. The most unlikely feeling enter my senses. The image i got from it was like it was sitting in a rocking chair, with glasses half of his face, reading a book like a father read a book to his son. But it was not a father and the baby was not his son. It was some kind of semi solid smoky redish shadow figure, reverting on itself and have the form and similarity of what humans have. Head, arms, torso, legs, just like a man. But it had something like a face. And in his face i saw two red, red diabolics eyes. All red and luminous like i never seen before. Someone or something is killing priests in the city of Riverview, and they are being murdered in horrible, gruesome ways. They seem to have been tortured, sodomized and dismembered, but no murder weapon or other evidence is being left at the crime scenes. Detective Crozier, of the Riverview police force, is puzzled beyond comprehension. Whoever is committing these horrid crimes, is doing so with a strong and savage rage, and seems to have near-superhuman strength. The bodies of these priests are being tossed around like rag dolls, and with such brute, violent force that nearly every bone in every area of their bodies is literally being crushed. Detective Crozier is scrambling to figure out what it is that all of these murdered priests have in common, and time is running out.
