When Soarin - a handsome wonderbolt - flirts with the one and only wonderfully talented Rainbow Dash, Applejack does her best to not let her friend notice her increasing jealousy of Soarin. As Rainbow spends more time with Soarin, she begins to feel conflicted as the internal struggle over who she prefers starts. She is forced to make a tough decision between being loyal to AppleJack, her faithful friend, or being involved with Soarin to stem a relationship. Will it all end well? Applejack had always been struggling with accepting her sexuality, until she heard about semi-famous lesbian singer. Going by the stage name Blue Ink, she quickly becomes Applejack's favorite singer, because of how special her lyrics are, and how real situations she mentions in them. What will happen if someday she meets the person who made her feel proud of her sexuality? What starts as bickering over chores and boundaries slowly turns into something neither of them expected. Between long walks through the orchards, late-night stargazing, and Scootaloo and Apple Bloom playing matchmaker, Rainbow begins to wonder if slowing down wasn't such a bad thing... especially when Applejack's warm laugh feels more like home than Cloudsdale ever did.
