She's on the run from the same Order she gave her life to. Then she meets someone who is facing the same type of pain, and she can't help but relate. So when he asks her to join him, she hesitates. Although the Jedi in her screams no, the other part of her mind, the wounded one, can't help but consider it... As awful scars, both physical and mental, resurface of the Council, as well as from the sith, both outcasts find comfort in the other.
