John Constantine doesn't do apprentices. Not really. He half-trains them, tests them, disappears on them, and occasionally remembers they exist. Julie has learned to live with that. "Lady Tano." "Lord Maul." Darth Maul and Ahsoka Tano share one of the most tragic, complex rivalries in Star Wars. Both former prodigies-one to the Sith, the other to the Jedi-they were ultimately cast out by their respective orders, making them ideological mirrors of each other. On the surface, Maul and Ahsoka seem like polar opposites, but in actuality, they have remarkably similar arcs: Both Maul and Ahsoka were taken from their home worlds to become part of an order. Ahsoka to the Jedi and Maul to the Sith. They were trained in the ways of said orders and ultimately rejected by the very groups to which they dedicated their lives. After their rejection, they take the same path. Both do not abandon the ideals of their order, Ahsoka tries to continue to fight for good using the force, and Maul continues to use hate to exact revenge and gain power. HOWEVER, as much as Ahsoka wants to keep her thoughts positive on the Jedi Order, telling herself they only did what they thought was best, they wouldn't have done it if they didn't think they had to, and deep down they knew she didn't do it, shes now beginning to struggle. She had given her entire life to the Order, and they cast her out at the suspicion she might have committed a crime. She proved her loyalty and it meant nothing, as they didn't believe her. She's on the run from the same Order she gave her life to. Then she meets someone who is facing the same type of pain, and she can't help but relate. So when he asks her to join him, she hesitates. Although the Jedi in her screams no, the other part of her mind, the wounded one, can't help but consider it... As awful scars, both physical and mental, resurface of the Council, as well as from the sith, both outcasts find comfort in the other. This is a series extension for the Rangers Apprentice book series. I take no credit for most of the characters and world info but I did come up with the plot and actions for the characters. I'm a huge fan of this series and would never want to harm it in any way.

The last thing Rose Ramirez pictured doing on her week off was being murdered, meeting Death himself, and trying to get the legendary Scythe back from a Grade-A sociopath. But that's exactly what happened. One day she was trying to uncover a sketchy business plot, and the next she was thrust into a world of spell-binding, magic coffee shops, and undead mercenaries. Dealing with the living dead, supernatural canines, and being a "temporary" supernatural creature herself is all on the docket as Rose tries to save the world alongside Death's lovably snarky apprentice and several of his friends from the underworld. Both figuratively and literally.

After Shadowleaf's apprentice recently got murdered in a gruesome battle against Nightclan, Shadowleaf had no motivation to do anything but come out for food and clan meetings. After Riverstar noticed this, the young warrior was assigned a new apprentice. Shadowleaf regained her courage with her apprentice, Leafpaw. Shadowleaf had never really been a special cat, but with Leafpaw, she had become well known and respected. Soon enough, everything was okay for Shadowleaf, with the clan having good luck during Leaf-Fall. But everything good must come to an end, right? Shadowleaf and her clan must leave their territory to escape a burning fire ripping through the land, turning everything to ashes left and right. Will Shadowleaf and her clan make it out alive, or be never heard from again?
