Sometimes you sit down, and you're met with silence. It's like a blanket, louder than noise and suffocating. You can feel it in your bones, you can feel it in the air. Love, happiness, humans, change, animals. Everything. When everything and everybody is gone... Silence remains. April is midway through ending and it has shown us its own special touch of kindness! This is my entry, written right before the deadline because that was when I first found out about this contest so why not? DISCLAIMER: This entry is written from my own humble and probably limited point of view and does not necessarily represent everyone else's opinion. We're all going through some type of stress during this global pandemic, so a little peek on the positive side can go a long way, especially now when we most need it.

This are my own thoughts... This represents my emotion.. If in case you've found this book.. A poem is like a song only this time, You don't need a melodic voice to sing. Like a blanket it provides coverage and warmth. It may be calm, or the storm And it's commotion, But its sure to bring out some Form of emotion. It gets you to think. Or leave you on the brink off mighty flowing tears. It may make you aware of not only yours But another's fears. A poem is so many things wrapped in one. The longing meanings of a heart's song. Raw and intune. This book is a compilation of monthly poems, which will tackle mostly about the lives & personalities of different people. Whether my words or my characters are real or not, I believe this is worth sharing.
