Estamos hechos de historias. Lena es una joven aventurera que se dirige al reino de Amblebush, donde cada año se celebra una feria llamada Scarborough. Pero antes, Lazarus, un alquimista le contará la historia de dicha feria haciendo que Lena descubra cosas que jamás imagino.

En un instituto cualquiera de Charlsville, se encuentran nuestros dos protagonistas: Alexander y Hugo. Hugo no pasa desapercibido para las chicas debido a su irreal belleza, en cambio Alexander, es todo lo contrario, es un chico tímido que le gusta ser invisible y no llamar la atención del resto. Está combinación tan extraña desata el caos, nadie pensaba que llegarían a ser amigos pero en realidad sucede algo más fuerte que eso que ninguna persona podría llegar a esperar.
