Ivey Howrish lives a life many people would like to have on a huge ranch with her family. She has a dream of becoming an AQHA champion with a horse she trained just like her mother. Once a new horse arrives, this might just be her chance to finally show her family how much she knows.

Kendall is taking a risk by buying the state's crazy horse, a fleabitten-grey Quarter Horse mare, but when her show horse is found dead in the barn, she sets out to find this new horse to show her community that she won't let this stop her and that she doesn't need Prince to win. Passion is a 5 year old mare who bucks any person who even tries to ride her, making her a very undesirable horse. She is supposed to go to the slaughter house, but Kendall feels like she needs to give the horse a chance. The crazy mare is yet again forced through weeks of stupid drills and dumb training procedures when it seems that she finally gets through to the horse. Even so, the pair are expected to fail miserably. Kendall, however, is determined to show every pair of doubtful eyes that she won't give up on this horse. Even though everyone in the state of Ohio has given up on her, the misunderstood mare is not just another problem horse; she is determined to show everyone that the two together have the power to crush every person and horse at the fairgrounds. She is ready to show the world what she can do with the state's problem horse.

But there are two problems, her mom thinks that riding is just a waste of time and doesn't want her to go, and Elias has been offered a spot on the team as well. Will Kehlani be able to stay on for this new and bumpy ride? Or will she get bucked off and land face-first in a pile of shit? This is basically just me ranting about how people think Western riding is so much easier then English. PLEASE NOTE, this is not meant to be offensive to any English riders out there. I'm just trying to show people that both disciplines are equally challenging and hard. I'll also add some Western disciplines with a brief explanation and some pics/vids

This is a place to store my stories from my Horse Art Role Playing Game (HARPG). I will post links to the associated art piece in the external link as well as at the bottom of the piece so you can find it. This isn't for points really and all of that is just a story of a barn and all the people that board/live there. There may be an actual storyline later but right now it's just a lot of little snippets and stories from the lives at this Arizona barn. Also maybe some Rey/lo coded characters too...

Haley is a high school girl who shows the quarter horse circuit, this is a story about her life inside and outside of the barn. In and out of the saddle. And the challenges that come with both. She is taught respect, responsibility, strength, and learns many valuable skills along the way.
