A team? More like a family. Too much school? Try being a superhero with the safety of the world on your shoulders. A strong leader, a big brother, and a kind friend? How about a traitor. Wonderful childhood memories? All that Willow Dinah Lance has is a broken past. It's been five years since Willow finally remembered those first eight years of her life, and she's still trying to piece things together. Add the stress of a couple alien invasions, admitting her feelings for a boy she's been secretly crushing on for six years straight, and a best friend who's ex is now your mortal enemy, and all Wildfire can do is pray that she gets the chance to visit her hometown and find the mysterious boy that keeps haunting her dreams. Emma is tired of secrets, and she is tired of lies. Batman and Hawkwoman have left for an intergalactic trial for something they have no memory of doing. Her only blood brother is keeping secrets. Her boyfriend left her, and claims to still be in love with his childhood crush. Her "big sister" is dead, killed by her ex. The only thing that keeps her going is her new little "sister" and "brother", as well as her old friend, Willow. When a shocking new secret is discovered, will Emma be able to keep going? Sparks will fly as Willow and Emma solve the mysteries of their rapidly growing team, and discover that those you need are right there in front of you. A YOUNG JUSTICE: OUTSIDERS FANFICTION. DO NOT READ IF YOU WISH TO AVOID SPOILERS FOR SEASON THREE. The Justice League is divided, and each member must make a choice. Will they stand with Aquaman? Or with Batman, Green Arrow and their sidekicks as they attempt to work around United Nations Secretary-General Lex Luthor's ever-pressuring, anti-metahuman policies. Unable to choose, Emma Grayson heads to Markovia in an attempt to help the tumultuous country with its refugees and metahumans. However, when she runs into her younger brother, she realizes that Fate has something more up its sleeve. Willow already walked out two years ago. She refused to fight for a world that no longer believed in itself and its capacity for good. And although she has managed to create a life for herself in Detroit with her girlfriend, her past is about to catch up with her. The League attempts to rebuild its reputation. Meta-human trafficking spreads throughout the world. Nightwing tries to convince Nightingale to join his new team, and avoiding heroism may be harder than Wildfire thought. Wally's gone. Richard's gone. Willow's gone. Emma is too afraid of anyone else leaving her. Finding her home, her old life, and being asked a certain question makes Willow re-examine her life. With the loss of the original Kid Flash, things are changing-- for the Earth and its coveted heroes. Lex Luthor, a longtime enemy of the League, receives a position on the UN council, and with the defeat of the Reach, Earth has been thrust right into the galactic spotlight. Impulse becomes the new Kid Flash, Aqualad takes on an apprentice, and both Nightwing and Wildfire, for their own personal reasons, have left the team. Then, when old friends of Superboy and Wildfire appear with news of Wally West--alive--the team jumps at the opportunity to bring their speedster home. Can Nightingale save her big brother? Can Wildfire save the family she's always dreamed of? Can Emma make peace with the ghosts of her past? Can Willow silence Pyro once and for all? And can the girls' friendship withstand everything that's about to be thrown at them? [Young Justice] {OCxAqualad} {OCxOC} [I own Dragonfire. " Hello Megan! Where do I begin? I don't want to forget anything!" "...My grandfather is the one and only Batman. How cool is that?" "...They got away that night. And I know that's not the last I or my family will see of them." "... She's such a perfectionist..." "...If the roles were switched, I'd want her to come home safely too. I just hope I can make it home safely to her." "...They devote themselves to training us, because they want us to be able to defend ourselves and take part in the "Family Business" if we so chose. To be honest, I have better things to do." Twelve not-so-ordinary kids are sent back twenty years in time to when their parents were their ages. Join the worrywart magician, the four half-extraterrestrials, the Atlantean, the dragon-winged boy, the junior speedster, the archers, and the two walking alien apocalypses as they discover what their parents do, and why they do it too. It's been five years since the covert ops team of the Justice League was formed. A lot can happen. A lot has happened. Death, loss, pain, betrayal, happiness, joy, love, and excitement as team members come and go. Even with all this excitement, even with all that's going on, and with all the new friends and teammates and proteges, the team's original nine members can't help but feel like something is missing. It doesn't help that when Blue Beetle, aka Jaime Reyes, and his best friend the Brass Beetle, join the team towards the end of the year 2015, there is something distinctly familiar about the two, even though the teens insist that they've never personally met any of the heroes before. Then one day, one day, nearly a month after the fateful Reach invasion and the death of the original Kid Flash, it all comes rushing back. ------- I ran to the mission room, trying to ignore the vibration humming through the station that made my legs feel like jelly. Artemis, Zatanna, M'gann, Connor, Raquel, and Aqualad were already there, staring in astonishment at a fading light in the center of the room. When the light cleared, there were ten kids standing in the center of the room. My brain felt a bit fuzzy, but I felt like I knew some of them. Like the girl with Blue Beetle's armor, or the boy wearing a magician's suit like Zatanna's. Then one of the older-looking girls looked up at me. Long blonde ponytail, pale skin, red shirt, black pants and piercing green eyes. I did know them. I knew her. Her name was Sandy, and she was my daughter from the future.
