After the invasion of the Reach and after the world was saved, she finally had her chance to talk to him. She never had the chance after Tula died. Tula, also known as Aquagirl, and also her teacher. After Jasmine Karr found out she was half human and half Atlantean after San Diego sunk into the ocean she's been getting use to her new underwater life. Arthur Curry, Aquaman and his wife Mera took in the young girl. Mera then became her teacher in Atlantean Sorcery. When Mera is unable to help Jasmine with her studies, Tula was the one to step in. She would tell Jasmine the stories of her good friend Kaldur'ahm and that one day she hoped to she would get to meet him as well. But after Tula's death, that time had to wait. Now, she's able to ask the big question she's been meaning to ask since Tula's death, will Jasmine be able to become the new Aquagirl? The young, Atlantean girl was taken in immediately and won over the hearts of several Leaguers. She was adopted by Black Canary and given a place on the Team. The only problem was her past. She knew almost nothing about where she came from and had limited training from her mother before she passed. Her mother thought she took both of their secrets to the grave, but now Tyne and her new teammates are determined to discover who she really is. They want the answers on why Tyne was warned to fear other Atlanteans and will no stop until they do so. Will her past be more than the Team bargained for? Or will they accept her once her secret is out?
