Hudson, a 17-year-old Christian boy, moves to Los Angeles with his family for a new life. Hudson had a lot of problems in his past and fears that he just hid away. But now after moving and attending a new school, he finds out things about himself that he never knew, and fears that he could finally lay to rest just by meeting a friend.

After the tragedy I saw, I never wanted to even think about water again. When grandmother told me we were moving to an island made up of water-lovers, I nearly puked. How was I supposed to live surrounded by WATER?!? This is the tale of how I faced my biggest fear and felt the ups and downs of life all because of some wonderful people. They've caused so much amazing change to my life, and not a day goes by I don't stop thinking about them. They are my first set of "friends." ~ The water flows into your lungs. It fills your body with the strong taste of salt. The tide is strong and tugs you, further and further down into the ocean. ~ Hi there, I'm IcecreamWithKetchup. (Just read it, and you'll see what I mean.) Aquaphobia: the fear of water Jamie is your normal everyday 16 year old girl. An A-B student with small group of close friends, and no real plan for the future beyond passing her sophomore year of high school. Except on thing... She has an extreme fear of water. After almost drowning at 8 she has yet to return to the water. Sure she can shower without freaking out, but nothing more than that. What happens when her mother, with hopes of getting Jamie over her fear, signs Jamie up for the swim team at her school and requires that she attend? Will it work, or will it all crash and burn?

Since he was a young boy, Jeremy has had aquaphobia - a fear of water. He refused to go near it under any circumstances, despite any nagging from his friends. It's already hard enough to live with this fear he didn't fully understand, but his father doesn't help whatsoever. If anything, he created the fear in his son.
