Even with the U.S government becoming allies with the Autobots and giving them refuge, they still fear that other human elements may be aware of their existence or simply seeing any left over parts of Cybertronians or their tech left out or undiscovered by the warring factions to be gold in the form of technology that some country or group forgot about, not even realizing the alien nature of it yet. Due to this fear, they decide to put together a task force with a simple yet difficult task: retrieval of any Cybertronian tech in the wild, not claimed by any faction, and the acquisition of it from any other human group that'd use it for weapons development or generally evil purposes. This task force's name? NEST. Led by a US army ranger, Major William "Wild Bill" Lennox will be leading his task force to ensure the secrecy of the Cybertronians and prevent their technology from falling into the hands of humans who'd use it against everyone for their own gain. Can he successfully do his job or will human greed and Cybertronian conflict win and plunge the world into an apocalypse that'll doom the human race? But, I can with a clear mind say that he's the main reason why Cybertron was revived. After all, where would we be if he didn't save Optimus that day? But... What would have happend if things were... different? What if Smokescreen showed up in different circumstances? With... a little different powers? What is Smokescreen wasn't alone, but had a special bond with two others? What if... the decepticons experimented on the caught autobots, not destroying their potential and turned them into mindless monsters by using the dark energon like Cliffjumper? What if... those experiments had a different objective? I welcome you to the Transformers version of What if...?, featuring Smokescreen and a couple of my OC's. (Yes, I know how annoying they can get, but I promise they'll be important to the plot enought to not be useless, but not too much so they won't be stealing the spotlight) The story WILL contain scenes of brutality, child neglect, self-harm, torture and death. Alright, let's start from the beginning one last time. I'm Y/n L/n, and for about three months, I've been the one (but not only) Aracni. Along with my partner in un-crime of course, but shush, this isn't about her. We saved camalot, probably a lil too much, got sentences put over our heads as "fugitives." You know, the usual. I couldn't save my mom, but I still try to remember what she told me: that with great power, comes great responsibility. And to keep tucking my shirts in. But one day this super wierd thing happened... I was sucked into this portal thingy... and ended up somwhere... strange. With tall buildings and lights that didn't come from fire. The only reasonable explanation has to be the future, it just has to. But the question is... how? And, more importantly, how do I get home..?

Sinewave is transported to an unknown timeline, she struggles escaping both autobots and decepticons. She hates the Autobots for what they did to her Carrier, and despises the decepticons, despite both her creators being Decepticons. She hates both sides equally and vowed to never pick one, but when she finally sees her carrier for the first time since she was a youngling, she denies it and can't get her shit together. Her being ... well her doesn't help either. She's chaotic, and kills anybody threatening to her. which in her processor, is everybody. ever since the disappearance of her Sire, she hasn't trusted anybody. and with people constantly mistaking her for her carrier doesn't help.. in the present where she once was, she is wanted, but nobody knows what her name is or what she looks like, all anybody sees in the news is her pitch black frame. she wants to go back to her time, but she is going to need help from either autobots or decepticons. As much as she wants help, she doesn't want to be around any autobots or decepticons. will she get home? or not... (I do not own any the characters besides my OC, Sinewave.
