What begins as tension turns into something else: late-night conversations, inside jokes, forgotten journals, and truths they didn't know how to say out loud. Halbarad barrels through life with confidence and chaos, chasing basketball wins and awkward crushes - especially on Elariel, the mysterious girl who never speaks up unless she has to. As the school year moves forward, each of them wrestles with things they don't talk about: pressure, identity, grief, fear, friendship, and the ache of not always knowing where you belong - or who you're becoming. A quiet, character-driven story about three boys, one girl, and the parts of growing up that no one teaches you how to say out loud. Written with the help of 'Cat I Farted'
